Cryptocurrency Terms & Conditions

Last Update: July 2018

These Cryptocurrency Terms & Conditions apply to your use of Cryptocurrency as your selected payment method for both Clients and Freelancers. Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully. By using Cryptocurrency as your method of payment, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. These Terms & Conditions apply in addition to the terms and conditions contained in our Website Terms of Service. If there is a conflict between these Terms & Conditions and our Website Terms of Service with respect to Cryptocurrency transactions, these Terms & Conditions apply. If you do not want to agree to these Terms & Conditions, you must not access or use the Site.

Paying with Cryptocurrency

Powered by Coinpayments. Our acceptance of Cryptocurrency is powered by Coinpayments. We do not guarantee and are not responsible for the availability of Coinpayments’s services. To complete your deposit, you will be re-directed to Coinpayments’s website, where you will see the total deposit amount in Cryptocurrency, based on an exchange rate set by Coinpayments. The Cryptocurrency price for your deposit will remain valid period of time set by Coinpayments. If you do not initiate a payment during the valid period of time, the Cryptocurrency exchange rate will be updated and the Cryptocurrency price for your deposit may change. We are not responsible for cryptocurrency and fiat currency rate changes, it depends solely on its market.
Cryptocurrency network transaction fees. As with nearly all Cryptocurrency transactions, a very small transaction fee (a “miner’s fee”) will be added by the Cryptocurrency network to your total deposit amount in Cryptocurrency. This fee covers the cost of verifying Cryptocurrency transactions. Hirefreelancerz has no control over this fee and does not receive any portion of the fee.
Cryptocurrency transactions are final. Once you initiate a Cryptocurrency transaction, you cannot cancel it. This is inherent in the nature of the Cryptocurrency network, not a policy set by Hirefreelancerz.
Under payments and over payments. If you attempt to initiate a deposit of Cryptocurrency less or more than the exact amount of your deposit (plus applicable fees), your payment will not complete and you should be notified by Coinpayments to submit the remaining amount or be refunded. After a failed payment you will be required to re-submit payment for the correct amount in order to complete your deposit.
Transactions complete once confirmed. Once a Cryptocurrency transaction is submitted to the Cryptocurrency network, it will be unconfirmed for a period of time (usually about an hour, but sometimes longer) pending full verification of the transaction by the Cryptocurrency network. A transaction is not complete until it is fully verified.
